Primo
Muddog, I will give you my experience with primo. But evidently, I am different than roughly 95% of the people on this board in that the dosages I do are generally far lower than what I see other posters discuss.
Four years ago, I did a 12 week cycle of primo (only primo) at 200 mg per week (most people would tell you to double that dose). It was the human grade stuff from schering.
I absolutely loved the results, primo has to be the most "cosmetic" steroid out there.
The results were as follows:
-My overall bodyweight stayed the same, roughly 235 lbs. (I'm 6'4")
-My bodyfat dropped from roughly 14% down to 9%
-I got very cut and defined, the most that I have ever been in my life.
-For the first time in my life, I had 6 pack abs. This was really significant for me, because my natural body type is overweight, I tend to hold a lot of bodyfat and have trouble keeping weight off and lots of trouble getting cut. When I have taken testosterone cypionate , for example, I balloon up to 280 lbs.
-It greatly helped me get the "mens fitness" type of physique, which was my goal.
-I only stopped because my source can no longer get the schering.
Here is what I feel were some of the keys during the cycle:
-I was in top shape naturally before I ever started the cycle.
-My workouts were geared towards getting cut.
-My diet was strict and also geared towards getting cut.
Good luck, if you want to lean out (and if your diet and workouts are in line with that goal), I think you'll love the stuff.

Primo
Muddog, your question was how long until it kicks in and is it worth it.
I noticed an improvement in the pump I got from my workout within a couple of weeks of starting the primo. The real "gains" (in my case, cuts and definition) came roughly 6 to 8 weeks into the cycle.
As for is it worth it, I think it depends on your own finanaces. My primo cycle cost me roughly $ 120 per month and I would do that again in a heartbeat.Last edited by hoopcat528; 03-02-2005 at 06:30 PM. Reason: adding info
