muscle growth quest.

Has anybody experienced muscle growth while on a hard diet. I fill like I can't grow anymore in my arms . when I work arms or when worked them the day before it's like my skin can go no further. Plus my freakin arms fall asleep every night and I can't ****in sleep. I've heard that when on a diet that you'll lose water and muscle compression and your arms or any part would grow.what do you guys think.
