1hr after went to my sports injury specialist. he said that there is a minor taer and one of my ligaments was hurt. he thinks that the ligament was the cause of the peck taer. i haven't had very much busing. so it's not the worst, but can't lift sh!t. thanks for the support bro's

Don't lift until your doc clears you to do so! Better to take a few months off, now, than to be plagued by this thing for the next 20 years of intermittent training. Did I say a few months? Hey, whatever the doc says.

i would do rehab.. it really speeds up the healing process... ive strained/had minor tears a few times, and i suggest that u get as much rehab as possible

I got a real minor tear in my pec about a month ago. Some slight bruising. I kept lifting but didn't bench full range for a couple weeks and it just healed on it's own.

Bro, I tore my chest where it joins the shoulder a year and a half ago... It took about 8 freakin months to heal(it was pretty bad my whole arm was black and blue). It sucks.. because my chest is my lagging point...

i ripped mine 2 summers ago and took almost 8 months off. anything i did, hurt like hell. even now, i'm still hurting when i hit a certain weight. i can't live heavy and i don't think i ever will. it's something that stays with u, but i'd say take as much time off as u need man. no need to rip it twice (which is what i did, when i came back 2 months later). make sure u're taking glutamine and vitamins.

don't do the surgery if they offer u. it's even worse than healing it naturally.

not really that bad, my brother ripped his entire peck major off. it was hanging in front like a big titty, also bruised instantly. had to get surgery, they had to drill through his bone and tie the muscle back on. left a bad scar. it took him 10 months to heal and still not the same.
