    Antibiotics on AS? What should i do?

    i got strep throat and i am on my secind week of cyp 250mgs, eq 600mgs. i just got prescribed augmentin 500mg/tab. i have to take two a day. will this be ok to take while i am on?

    personaly I dont believe in anti-biotics, the human body should learn to fight its own battles... but if u really need them, then what can u do eh??

    I no tetracycline (sp?!) hinders protien synthesis which doesnt sound like a good thing in my books.

    btw - anti-biotics fucked with my tube to the stomach, acid coming up so bad i couldnt eat for 3 weeks. everytime i ate something i almost cryed. thats kinda rare tho.


    as far as serious interactions? I dont think so, but im not a doctor.

    yeah my tonsils are pretty screwed up, i have tried to fight this before without antibiotics but then my tonsils got so swollen i could barely breathe. so i guess i should just take them and hope i get better.........

    antibiotics to my knowledge will not effect AS on the body unles the antibiotics are somehow harsh on the liver and you were taking orals then maybe, i had heard tetracylene did inhibit protein synthesis however i have yet to read study on it.

    Augmentin wont mess with ya

    do a search on tetracycline or antibiotics.....i posted a couple of threads on this topic....
    in short...abt's will only mildly affect the AAS....continue with the cycle, it will not be enough of an effect to make any difference...

    taking antibiotics is okay bro it wont fuck with ur gains ,as a matter of fact bodybuilders take it with steroids to promote growth like erythromycm known to kill bacteria in da intestines to absorb more nutrients

    Im currently on tetra.. And im plannibg to start with Tbol.
    But I dont know yet.
