Androgel Question
My doc put me on Androgel at 5 grams a day... I have been on this stuff for about 3-4 weeks now and have not noticed any difference. Back when juicing, I would hit the test with 500-700mg a week I would notice the difference in 8-12 days, and it was a major change in everything with me, including energy and self esteem and confidence.
Does anyone know how much of the Androgel is equal to shooting 750mg's of say testosterone enanthate a week?
have any of you used this Androgel ?
Thanks - H

You are not alone most patients that we deal with even the ones that have never taken testosterone before claim that Androgel is not strong enough for them. We do have a testosterone gel that is stronger and more effective. If you would like please contact us and we can discuss further.

Oasis, I would like to order from you guys. Is anyone here willing to say any positive/negative things about this place? I would rather take an oral or injectable than androgel (which is what my doc has me on right now).
Did a search and found some answers. No need to reply here.Last edited by vulcanorion; 07-09-2005 at 03:32 PM.

hey all... Not to sound negative but the gels didn't do anything good for me. I tried both of them, the androgel and testim or whatever it's called and they don't even come close to getting a shot. The gels made all my shirts smell, made me smell, and you feel like you have a coat of wax on your shoulders when you take a shower the next day and it was (in my eyes) a big waste of time. My total test levels barely increased and yes, I followed the directions. I would not recommend this gel stuff to anyone, I wasted 5 months with the gel.

Find a good endocrinologist that will give you test injections and monitor your levels... It took me a long time and three doctors for me to finally feel a little better.

It's definitly a step in the right direction, I do feel a lot better than I did with nothing or the gels. For me, nothing really compares to being on a "all out" cycle like I was used to being on for a long time. The thing that screwed me with the doctors and getting me something "stronger" like the shots, was that I told the doctor I used steroids in the past. I think ever since that went into my record things have been different and they saw it as they didn't want to fund my next cycle, as they see a shot of 100mg test per week overkill. It's not easy to find out what works with you. As far as going through doctors, Like mranak said we might find better luck with ageneral practitioner, thats what I did first and around here (CT.) all the doctors like to ship you off to a specialist so they aren't responsible. In my eyes the doctors don't have a clue and it's all trial and error, You just have to keep trying different things until you find something that works for you.
