Used Pins?

What are you supposed to do with used pins? I have a red sharps container I put them in, but what do with them after that? I have a big garbage bag full of them in a back room, because I don't know what to do with them. I know you are not supposed to throw them away.

some pharmacy's have like biohazard drop off policies..
look in your phone book, or newspaper haha

ask a diabetic, and take it to the same place they drop off all their used needles and stuff: i.e. shoppers drug mart..

I think there are places in the city where they take used needles.

I throw mine in the garbage and put it out with the trash.

I probably will get hammered for saying this, but most of these posts are so irresponsible its scary. I wont make specific comments as they are all insane, however, I will say, that you can get a Sharps Container from any medical supply store. Once that is full, you can seal it with medical tape, also bought from the medical supply store and then take that to ANY fire station. They all have sharps disposal boxes, wont ask questions (if they do, tell them your a diabetic) and would thank you for being RESPONSIBLE for disposing of them properly.

Take the needles off first and throw out the syringe. It saves a lot of space.

I was planning on putting mine in a big jar and taping it up and throwing em out. No good?
