i usually go with a 1.5" i guess it would depend on how much fat you have on your ass.

I use 1 inch for my quad... I prefer 1.5 for glute

I go with 1" for glutes and it works just fine. Like frkyBgStok said, all depends on how much fat you have in the trunk since you need to make it into the muscle and then some.

That is my favorite needle... I have however pulled some blood in the glute before so I tend to agree with the others on 1.5" for the glutes.

the idea behind intra muscular injections is to penetrate deep into the muscle
to aid with absorbtion which in turn provides a higher a.a.s. blood level.

obviously with low a bf% one could use a 1", but a 1.5" works much much better in this regard.
