Protein consumption whilst cycling
Ive alway's read that the body can assimilate roughly 30g of protein every 2-3 hrs and that taking steroids increases your nitrogen retention thus enabling your body to assimilate more protein. So what would be a good figure to increase your protein consumption by? I know this would depend upon dosages of steroid and which one's used but just a rough idea. Cheers

i think it's more than 30grams... that sounds kinda low... might b more in the neighborhood of 50-60 grams....

It really depends on how much you weigh. Obviously a person weighing 250 pounds can consume more protein at one sitting than a person only weighing 150 pounds.

I aim for 2g protein per 1lbs of body mass
For me that equates to approx 400g of protein
I eat 8 meals per day
Each of my meals contains 50g protein
Try to eat 2g protein per 1lbs of body mass

its body weight dependent and i usually do 2g Per lb of lean mass but when running higher amounts of AAS which can increase protein synthesis i would up it by 10-20%

yeah well i try to get more then 2g i weigh 197 and i try to intake over 200 if possible, works for me, plus i just shit alot now. i dont know if thats the protein of just cuz i eat so damn much!

no excess protein would cause massively evil gass, problems w/ your gut and kidneys, its very toxic, and it would be stored as fat

i asked a question about tha amount of protein u can take in every 2-3 hours and i beleive swolecat (maybe im wrong mayve been another moderator) told me that there is no proof of this

everything i hve read says protein intake is based on your lean body mass times 1.5 or 2.. per day... just wondering how much protein u can take in at one sitting... i have read 50/60 grams.. but it probably also is different for every individual...
