I'd read that before considering RU-486. The level of understanding that must be achieved before using stuff like this is quite high. The one graph alone shows the increase in plasma cortisol levels, which is a pretty common side effect of RU-486.

Using something like this for an extended period of time, say the duration of a cycle and perhaps in PCT can cause a variety of problems. Namely, cortisol suppresses immune function, and pharmacologically cortisol is used in this manner during organ transplants. Cortisol also inhibits the actions of insulin , and is strongly catabolic.

It would take further research to determine the dosing and increase in RU-486 but some serious attention would have to be paid in wei***ng the risks with the benefits of blocking progesterone receptors. Is it really worth the risk?

Why? This is 6 years old and imo this medication is way too much for what you would use it for

Cause regardless of whether it's old or not it was inconclusive and would be good to know the final verdict. There are decent studies to support it's effects as well.

Lol, good work. Yes it's the same over here it's like £30/pill but that's from the doctors who will obviously charge that much to try deter people from impregnating dirty skanks. Getting them by quantity from a pharma company is a different idea though if it's possible.

    ru-486

    hi

m umair aziz..........m a medical student........you guys will be pleased to know that this pill is not very harmful to men coz men dont have receptors for abortion......it inhibits coritsol as you mentioned and it is very succesfully used for cushing syndrome..........hormone disorder caused by high levels of cortisol in the blood. This can be caused by taking glucocorticoid drugs, or by tumors that produce cortisol or adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) or CRH.........it has been used for this puprose for 10years in patients without any noticeable side effects.......

clomid is basically female fertility drug but helps man too........its main purpose was to induct ovulation in some women who were unable to ovulate and tamoxifen (nolvadex ) is antitumor drug for breast cancer in those women whose breast cancers are responsive to estrogen............it blocks estrogen receptors and so tumor regresses

well, alot of beginner drugs were formed for something else and it had other effects. asprin for example, was began for pain and it saved alot of lives due to the heart benefits.

also, being a estrogen receptor drug, men dont have nearly the same amount of estrogen so really wouldnt have much use one would think. but it has its effects in men that are actually beneficial.
