Cramps - Gatorade?
I cant take a deep breath, yawn, stretch or hickup right now without feeling like my neck, shoulders or whatever are gonna sieze. I know potasium, water and a multivitamin would help, but i was wondering if anyone drinks Gatorade a lot, and if it helps. It has potasium, sodium and a few other things in it that are recommended for cramping... anyone have success with this?

drinking too much gatorade will actually dehydrate you. mix half water half gatorade. potassium has always worked the best for me.

I say 3grams of taurine, a potassium - magnesium combo, as well as some malic acid. This wham bam combo will help you alot.

I used to drink alot of gatorade and powerade for cramps, but I got a nice amount of fat from doing it for about a year.
*But for your question, yes, it defineitly helped with my cramps.

From an electrolyte point of view, V8 is much better than Gatorade - it's got a lot more potassium in it. But it's a lot harder to stomach after a tough bout of cardio.
I usually gulp down teh V8 and then have a chaser of something tastier.

I cannot find any kind of potassium tablets at any pharmacies or drugstores. Any ideas?

Thnx for the input bros... my 710ml bottle of gatorade has 80mg of potasium... im guessing the sodium is what dehydrates you and the sugar puts on the pounds...
