Like the title says, from what i've read not many people like HCG anymore, is there some reason for this? I've read profiles on HCG and it seems good on paper but is it? Your experiences?

I like my balls to grow back. So yeah, I like it. In fact I took agout 1,500ius this morning. I'm going to take around 500ius/week for the next month until I start PCT after tbol.

Can I take 5000 iu once a week for 3 weeks just prior to PCT?

No you don't want to take 5000iu once a week. Try 1000iu EOD for total of 5000 iu, last shot a week before pct, if you want to just do it at the end of the cycle. I prefer to start the hcg as soon as I notice myself getting the ol' shrinkey-balls, and run 250iu or a bit more E3D all the way to the end of cycle, stopping the hcg again a week before pct. Big shots can desensitize your balls so the LH that your pituitary pumps out when the HPTA recovers doesn't do much. HCG mimics LH. What is better is to take amounts that would, in the absence of exogenous hormones or LH, cause the testicles to produce a normal or slightly below normal level of test. You are just trying to prevent or correct mild atrophy, not enable your nuts to pump out a gram of test per week. You don't want to desensitize them either. The 1000iu shots should be okay for a short period. For long term use, def go with a way lower dose.
