There was no war story, I stuck it my quad and pushed on the plunger. The problem is everyone thinks of when they were a kid getting shots and how they didn't like them. Your not a kid anymore and this is something you are chosing to do, so get over it and move on

it's easy... don't worry aobut it, you will be a lil nervous first shot, but after that they come easy.. don't overthink it.. not a big deal

Might be good to have a checklist prior to your first injection. I made one a long time ago. Maybe I'll see if I can dig it up.

I did my first injection in the glutes, but I think the vastus lateralis would have maybe been a better choice because it is so easy to get to.

First self injection happened whe my partner pussed out on me about 3 weeks in, I didn't know much but I knew I couldn't quit so I had to do my own. So I get all set up and realize that due to short arms a can't reach my ass, yeah I know, too funny. So I decide to do a quad shot but I am shaking so fricking bad I can't quite get it to stick, each time I touch the skin the needle just bounces around, after about five attempts I manage to get it in. Such a hurry I didn't even aspirate , and when I was done my leg looked like it had a run in with a cheese grater. But, after that it all gets easier, couple a hundred injects later and it's not big deal.

First time...I went right in the glute. It was no problem..Nnow its just part of my week

1st Inject, I backed into a wall to drive the needle into my glute.

2nd Inject, I bounced on a trampoline right into my ass

3rd Inject , I had a friend use a 5 pound hammer

4th Inject was a piece of cake.
