ok I want to start my test E cycle asap.. but my wife and I are tring to get pregnet.. so my question is how long does it take for the test to lower your sperm count? How long after the first pin? 2nd child btw.....

For low doses of test e alone... generally sperm counts begin lowering around the 9th month... test e is not all that shrinking of balls or reducing of capacity. Some HRT patients actually see an "increase" in sperm counts by taking testosterone injections and in some cases this is WHY they are given the injections. This doesnt count when you are a healthy properly functioning male, but if you have a low testosterone condition that requires supplemental testosterone, then the testosterone injections help.

You can also protect your sperm count or even boost it higher then you have now by taking tongkat ali products. Studies by university of Malaysia and MIT both found tongkat gradually increases sperm counts per volume and total volume of ejaculate by as much as double in both tests on rats and on human trails, and other studies found sperm count increases to be better on the tongkat ali for steroid users then clomid with steroid users. Ironically, clomid has been shown to have little or no effect on males who never have taken steroids but clomid is extremely effective on males who have steroid induced sterility, but come to find out, tongkat by itself delivers 35% higher sperm counts then clomid for steroid induced sterility, and its very effective on males who never have taken steroids as well.

Yo my knowledge this is not so... Test E IMO has the potential to make ur test count close to a zero in a realively short time.. Werent they even experimenting with test E as a male birthcontrol agent at some point. Sum1 else?

yes they were, but one irrefutable piece of evidence stands in the face of all that research. And that evidence is personified in all the men who have knocked up women while they were on cycles. On this board alone there are quite a few guys (hopefully they'll chime in) who have impregnated their wives/gf's/women while they were cycling.

All in all, I would never count on test as an effective birth control for this reason. No matter how many studies show otherwise.

Progesterone is also used for chemical castration. Its considered to be not worth the hassle of using progesterone because this is extremely likely to cause gyno side effects. ALso every man reacts differently to progesterone, some dispose of it quickly to trace doses might not maintain sterility, other men, the smallest amounts of the stuff can cause permenent irreversable sterility, while still others like rapist released from prison who opted for chemical castration, they get off the progesterone after years of treatments and as soon as the progesterone wears off, sperm counts and testosterone production resume as if nothing happened. In otherwords its too unpredictable to consider progesterone therapy in men as a viable option.

As for test e by itself, it can certainly reduce sperm counts in very heathy richly spermed men, but it takes years of steroid abuse to get that number down to zero.

Just to clarify, the rapist are giving progesterone WITHOUT testosterone . Without testosterone, they cannot rape, they have no sexual desire. They can take viagra and still not get a hard on, etc. The option of WITH testosterone was only studied for use as a male birth control shot so to speak.

To further clarify on the progesterone. In the study group, they found men needed to constantly produce sperm and blood samples on a monthly basis for several months before they found a custom dosing for the man. This is why its not all that feasible because of the constant repeat blood and sperm samples needed and a doctor has to determine the individual's fine line between shutting off sperm production and still not cause gyno. This might possibly be an FDA approved thing some time in future but its going to be a difficult sell to the FDA because millions of normally healthy men that would never need HRT could come out of this therapy "dependant" on HRT for life so you see the issue here. It is in clinical trials now in any case.

very interesting thread... many of us (including myself) had always thought of test as male birth control. wasn't it in Sweden that they began using test enth in some cases as a form of male birth control?
