please help...heart arrythmia
Hi all,
I am currently in my second week on a dbol ,test,eq cycle.
I've noticed since i've started taking the dbol that my heart
beats a little irregularly at night when i'm lying down to sleep.
Now I believe that I might have arrhythmia. I usually have it
when I'm lying down to sleep only. It beats normally and then
i feel a vibration in my chest and it seems like it misses a beat
right then and there. I'm kinda nervous and scared about it.
My hear is fine when I'm excercising hard and doing cardio. Never
chest pains etc. What could the problem be and what can I do
about it? I do have slightly high blood pressure. 152/74.
Could it be because of that? too much water bloat of the dbol?
Please help!!!

yup... agreed! Some arrythmias are really common and benign.. only way u can have a piece of mind is go see a doc, preferably a cardiologist.

Hey bro, I am a paramedic in medical school. There is a difference in a heart palpitation and an arrythmia, though slight there is a difference. A heart palpitaion is usually a one shot event usually a PVC or premature ventricular contraction or a PAC which is premature atrial contraction. This is where there is a one shot disassociation in the cardiac electrical system. Between the AV and PV nodes. A cardiac arrythmia is a reoccurent or predictable irregularity which can be seen on EKG. IE... runs of pvc or pac, not just one or two. Now my experience with D-bol. I had the same reaction that you are describing. I noticed most when I laid down to go to bed. My heart would beat very irregular and at times would have a beat that was so hard you could see it through my chest. I eventually went to the ER and my BP was quite high. showing significant signs of pulmonary hypertension. I have run most injectables with the exception of tren with this never occuring again. So my conclusion is that I do not need to include d-bol in my cycles. Everyone is going to react a little different to certain steroids . D-bol is the one that the side effects are so unpleasant and dangerous for that matter, that I just need to stay away from. I hope this helped some. Good Luck

Hi guys,
Went to do x-rays and a ekg test today. Will only be able to see
the doc tomorrow and find out what the results look like. i peeked
at the ekg report though and it mentioned that the overall report
is normal, there was something ele mantioned but can't remember
anymore. Something like variance in beats or something. so doesn't
sound to bad.
Also I've lowered the dose of dbol from 35mg to 15mg/day. i feel
better today. more calm. blood pressure feels like it's down and
my heart feels like it's beating better. So guns626, I believe you
were right. Maybe the irregular heart beat was due to high blood
pressure and other side effects of dbol. thanks again for that info
bud!!
mr amp. how are things on your side?

I have the same problem except it occurs when i am putting my body through lots of physical stress, happens rarely when i sit still. It got real bad when i was on d-bol, haven't gone to the docs about it yet, will do after my current cycle though. Wish you all the best.

If the heart muscle is weakened, can it be strenghtened again through
cardio etc.? Is it possible to really get the heart strong and powerfull
again? Any supplements that might help with this?
mr amp. glad you're ok bro! keep an eye on those dosages!

do you use stimulants such as caffeine or ephedrine along with your cycle? i had heart palps in the summer while on a test cycle and i went to get it checked out too..the doc told me i was taking in too much caffeine, i dropped the caffeine and it went away...
good luck bro, keep us posted

So is irregular heart beat a COMMON side-effect of Dbol ? I'm considering running 40-50mg/day on my next Winter Bulker but I don't like the sound of that.
Anyone else experience this?
Oh and Lucid and Mr. Amp... how old are you? Just wondering because it could have something to do with age + high BP.

Hi vein-x,
I'm 28. in march this year.
Have used dbol before at 20mg/day.
Used 35mg/day this time and experienced the sides.
If it's your first time stick to 20mg/day. You will get
good results with this dose and the side effects should
be minimum.
Juddman: I haven't used any stimulants in this cycle bro.
just aas + protein shake + lotsa eating. but I could see
how caffein and other stimulants could have that effect.
stupidhippo. had a allergic reaction to some medcine i
was given and head a mild heart attack which weakened
my heart. that's why the question.
i intend to to more cardio work to strenghten the sucker.
The heart is mucho important!! Wanna make sure everything
is a-ok!!!

oh shit.. sorry to hear that.. what medicine was that? How bad of an attack? The heart compensates by growing the healthy parts thus making it stronger but the actual infarction area is filled with scartissue... If the area is extent it does weaken and make the heart more susceptible for further complication .

that's ok bro! it wasn't that bad. it did feel like it was cramping though. Not sure what damage it did. I guess it was more severe for me because I dodn't understand what was happening and panicked.
But i've done cardio and heavy lifting for many years after without any problems. that should mean my heart is healthy right? i halfed my dbol
dosage and it feels like my heart is beating normally again. So that's a
relief. Still waiting for the doc to phone me regarding the x-rays.

If you use a anti estrogen such as a liquidex, it will help you lose some water and should lower your blood pressure. There could be something wrong with your heart, but lowering your blood pressure should be on the top of your list since, its most likely the main cause.

Hi guys,
read the report on my x-rays yesterday.
it said my heart is not enlarged, there are no lesions or petusions
or something in that order on my heart. I guess they mean scar
tissue by that!???
I guess that means my heart is in goos shape. I'm taking 20mg dbol
every day now. 1 5mg pill every few hours and my heart is beating
normally and i feel much better as well. Guess it was the dbol after
all. Gave me a real scare i must admit!!!
So there is a lesson to be learned from this, especially for the newbies
around. dbol may cause these kind of side affects. be careful with the
dosage and check your blood pressure. I'm going to be doing continues
blood work with my docrtor as well from now on.
Trust me...it pays to be safe.
