What office it is? Is it SUPS or something else?
If it is SUPS and your parcel don't require a signature, call and tell them you are out of town for several days and ask them to forward "all your parcels" to someone you trust (give them friend's address) and tell them you'll pay them for the stamps once you are back. If they do, you are safe. If they don't, ask them for the reason. If you don't believe what they tell you, call it a loss.

If the slip only has your last name, PO Box number, and the Box where it says "PARCEL" how could it be of any use against you? It seems like the more information on the document your signing for would equate to a greater potential value. Unless that document can differentiate between Aunt Edna's fruit cake or your ex gf's psycho letters I wouldn't be too worried.
If it really bothers you a loss, in most cases, isn't going to change your lifestyle. Call it the price of doing business or peace of mind and forget about it.

You've got to answer a few Q's. Worst case just tell them to return to sender because you didn't order anything.

JUST AN OPINION...
But I'd say you're being paranoid. Pick it up as usual. Remember, suspicious people "look" suspicious. Innocent people look clueless.
Just pick it up.
Chinese New years backed A LOT of stuff up! Big Time!!
Again, JUST ONE MAN's OPINION....

Lol I was definately being paranoid. The slip didnt have as much info on it because a signature wasnt required, it just wouldn't fit in any of the secondary boxs.
