needle deep in my glute and plunger doesn't want to depress

Has anyone else had this problem. Last night I sank my 25 gauge 1" needle in my glute and the plunger was so hard to depress I started getting a pump in my forearms. It's a 290mg/ml shot. 150mg test e, 90mg tren a, 50mg deca . I've been doing these shots for about 6 weeks and I've never had this problem.

I've had problems with certain areas before. Usually I just move the pin a little bit and then it will go in. Also, it will make it harder using such a small pin.

It was a brand new head on that plunger but I'll keep that in mind.
If it happens again I'll try what you mentioned CFH. does anyone know if scar tissue can cause this?
    thanks all

1" pin in a glute is most likely in fat btw. Depends on your fat %

I would guess it is cause of scar tissue.

scar tissue can absolutely be the case. for awhile i couldnt hit my quads due to scar tissue build up

i would try to rotate a little more and use 1.5" when hittin glutes

Yes, scare tissue can be the cause without a doubt. I know first hand. Scar tissue is just that...scar tissue. It does not absorb like muscle. There is no where for the liquid to go. If scar tissue is the cause...and you are able to pull the needle out a little bit...inject a little more...pull the needle out...inject a little more...then you may very well be simply injecting into the open pocket from where you just removed the needle from and a tad bit of surrounding tissue.

The area can also knot up because the liquid does not have anywhere to go -again, scar tissue does not absorb...you'll be lucky if your gear leaks into the surrounding tissue. Sometimes if the scar tissue is very bad...as was in my case...and still is to some extent...you can actually hear the needle ripping though the scar tissue. One of the cures for scar tissue is applying direct pressure. When you feel it burn....that is the scar tissue breaking up.

I don't mean give yourself a shot and then apply direct pressure and that burning you feel is scar tissue breaking up...no, that burning probably just be pain receptors - give that body part a rest from injections...then apply the pressure. I use to work in Physical Therapy and this is what we did for patients with very bad scar tissue. Stick your finger or knuckle deep into the area until they couldn't take it anymore...then stay at that pressue until they feel the burning.

I know this was a long reply...sorry....but scar tissue could be the cause, could be, and direct pressure....lots of it...is the way to break nasty scar tissue up.

Im pretty sure the pin size your using is 2 small.. try switching to a 23 1.5 inch for glutes, 23 gauge 1 inch for quads
