    Pin Gauge

Using Test E at 250 mg amps. Going to TS Co. to get my pins. What will be a good size to get. Going to be poking in my glutes and quads. Thanks

If you just want one size, I would go with 23g. 1.5inch. You can use that in both areas.

Sorry to butt in but, if this guy was to buy some pins, one size, would you recommend 23g or 25g ?? I was thinking 25g would be OK as it is little less painful and also you inject a little slower which is good.

    ??

    thanks

1" is ok for me for the delts, quads but I would stick with 1 1/2 for the glutes.

25g is way too small IMO, it takes way too long to push the juice out of that shit. I use 22g 1 inch, everywhere I inject.

Sometimes its better to inject slower, this may help with soreness on the following days. A 25G will cause less scar tissue than a 22G. I draw with 18G 1.5", inject with a 25G 1" in Delts and Quads and use a 23G 1.25" for Glutes.

25 is way to small the test can jam up and then end up spraying into the muscle to fast happend to me with a 23 gauge/ Fatback you want a 23 gauge 1" for quads and 1.5" for the glutes, dont do anyhting different then that IMO

and when it jams if it unjams accidently to fast and sprays into the muscle then you will get an infection

Do you have clumps in your gear or what?
I always use 25 or smaller and never had anything "spray" into the muscle. How would this cause infection? Either the bacteria is there, or it's not.

I would go with the 23g, to paraphrase Swifto, the bigger the pin the more scar tissue

...snce you're using amps, Fatback...Drawing with an 18ga. is fine....if you were using vials, I'd draw with a 20ga............and I use both 23ga. and 25ga. to inject with..whichever I grab out of my box.......

I have said this before and will say it again. GO with whatever gauge, length you want. I mean as long as you are deep into the muscle dont worry about it. Injecting with a 25g or 22g doesnt make a difference in one being "better" than the other. Yes the higher the gauge the less scar tissue, but there is no magic number for a certain area. Out of convenience I buy 22g 1.5 inch and use those EVERYWHERE. Bi's, tri's, glutes, quads, delts, pecs. I mean you dont need to buy 1inch if you are injecting in quads, just dont shove the pin in all the way, simple as that. I am not tryin to sound like an asshole, the message board is here for questions and its always better to be safe than sorry. I am just saying dont worry too much about gauges etc, just see how much pain you can take and go by what feels good to you and soreness in the days to follow etc.

Alright bro, but let me ask you this: how often do you use change pins? Do you take a few jabs w/ each pin or do you use a new one each time?

Never reuse a pin. That is very basic. You will end up with a nasty infection eventually.

If he's talking about re-using for drawing gear thats ok, but I still change it everytime. As for re-using for the actual injections, you ARE 100% right! NEVER reuse.

If I was going to get one pin it wouldnt be a 25g. You would be there all day drawing the damn thing. 18 to draw and 23 to shoot is what I use.

Use a new one each time for sure man. Would never take a risk using the same pin again.

    Hey

Im new to this, and my first cycle starting next week, i was going to use 23g, 1.5 inch pin....
But what is this about using one needle to withdraw from amp and one for inject? I htought its only one needle? How do utransfer from one to other one?

    Thanks

when they say draw with one pin and inject with another, its JUST the needle itself they change over. They use the same syringe. So draw all the gear up using an 18g pin, then when the syringe has all the gear in it, pull it back a bit so none is left in the pin, take the pin off then put on the 23/25G pin to inject with

using two different pins is a way the impatient get things done quicker. don't want to get roid rage right before injecting and jam the thing somewhere where it don't belong! like most people said though, 1.5 inch long is the norm and 23-25 gauge is a good call. the smaller the gauge, the more the scar tissue. anything higher than 25 though and you'll fall asleep waiting for the syringe to fill/empty.

    let my people grow,
    AC
