Used syringes and needles

Guys how do you discard your used syringes and needles. I'm sure you don't just throw them in your garbage can. there must be a proper way to discard them. please put your suggestions.onder:

I put them in an old protein container and wait till it's full, then tape it up and chuck it in a dumpster...

I usually just drop them in the sandbox at the local playground.

Seriously, MisterClean, just bop over to the drug store and buy a "sharps container." They're only about $3.00, and look like the red hard plastic containers that are used in physicians' offices for used needles. When full, they have a permanent seal, and you can get rid of them anywhere. (Except, of course, for the sandbox at the local playground.)

They're cheap and secure, and you can be the first kid on your block to fill one up! (It's fun to watch them get full.)

Go with the coffee can idea if you're living with parents, wife, etc. and they don't know you're juicing. But if you live alone, the sharps container is the best bet because that is the only thing for which they're used.

Well guys these are all nice tips and all, but my philosphy is, if you leave that can around with all those used needles in it, waiting for it to fill up, and toss it, don't you think that it would have a better chance of getting discovered by, wife/girlfriend, friends, Feds, or even worse kids.
I don't think I would want to take that risk. I normally when I have used a needle, I throw it in the trash, and immediately take my trash out, and throw in a dumpster. (BTW, I never throw personal info in that trash can).
The reason I say this, is because a buddy of mine was questioned and searched heavly after some narks found pins on him. His entire vehicle was searched from top to bottom.
besides with all those needles laying around with your blood/dna and so forth on them, if the Feds did raid your house and found your "used needles" stash, wouldn't that make for a better case to prosecute you? I mean, they can prove that your DNA and Blood are in those syringes, and what kinds of AS was contained in them. To me that would just make the case more against you. I mean would I rather be caught with one used needle rather than 50? Just my .02 worf..

You can buy a sharps box at any medical supply store or order one online if you're worried about it. I just toss mine in the trash.
