Epididymitis, EQ, Test E and Antibiotics

Last week I injected 400 mg of EQ and 125 mg of Test Enanthate . I've been doing heavy squats for the past ten weeks. Testicular pain and swelling brought me to the Emergency room last night where they told me that I have epididymitis and prescribed 200mg ED of Doxycycline and gave me an AB shot to combat the problem. I read on bodybuilding.com that the presence of certain roids in your system will make certain antibiotics ineffective. Would doxycycline be one of those that doesn't mix with the juice? I am going to the doctor tomorrow and going to tell him everything I'm saying here and to get tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea (two conditions that can also cause epididymitis, doubt I have them but it's good to cover all bases). Does anyone have any insight here, or has ever had Epididymitis themselves? HELP!

i cannot remember anythin about antibiotics not working when using certain compounds....im sure others will tell you tho.....

Thats how they test for chlamydia BOOZ. It wasn't meant to be a stupid post. I wish somone would have told me thats what they did before I was tested for it. Whats your problem?

its a pretty unpainful process.. I mean c'mon man.. maybe u had some sadistical nurse but in general its pretty well tolerated. Ive had it done once also and nothing to worry about ...

It wasn't anything I couldn't handle but painless, no way. I was young and I had no idea that they were going to do that. For Kingpin I hope everything works out for you. Not trying to scare you about the q-tip thing. But that is what they will do.

I was tested for chlamydia back in October and they did it with a urine test. Same thign with gonorrhea. My main concern was having the antibiotics not work because of the sauce in my system, but I will talk to them about it. I'm sure everything will be fine. No discharge or burning piss, but it's still smart to have all the bases covered

Had it after my Vas. Was a real pain in the balls. j/k. Took anti-inflam. for a month, tried steroids , and it still lingered for about 2 more months. Felt like a bad case of blue balls. Not sure how heavy lifting is going to effect it. It did go away. I had a hard time finding any info on it at the time.

..you have my sympathy, SK...Years ago when I worked in a metalworking/drop forging plant,I got nailed in the groin with the head of 12# sledgehammer..It only grazed my left testicle, but for several months afterward I suffered with epididymitis....people that haven't experienced the pain and swelling that accompanies epididymitis don't know how uncomfortable it can be....

Doxycycline did nothing ...Cipro worked much better for me.....

Just got back from the doctors, they took a urine sample for the STDs, they'll get back to me in a couple days. I told them about the EQ and test E i was taking and they told me to keep taking the antibiotics. My blood pressure was 146 over 90 on Sunday night, and it was 138 over 89 today. It was normal before I started last week, so I think i'm going to cool it on the roids for awhile

Got the STD tests back AND.......NEGATIVE FOR CHLAMYDIA, NEGATIVE FOR GONORRHEA. this is a great example of how to learn the hard way that you need to empty your bladder before squatting.
