    F'ing Doctor

My doctory ****ed up my RX of accutane a few weeks ago, and I had to go 8 days with out accutane. She told me that it will still be consistant levels in my blood and it will not negativley impact me at all, no worries. But I felt she was saying this to cover her ass..
Anyway now 2 weeks later, i am noticing my skin becoming oily aggain, like it used to be, pre-accutane treatment. No breakouts, but felt a couple sises in the center of my chest that are new.
Do you think this has to do with the absence of accutane for those days? Or is my dr correct in saying that this is unrelated???

in general ppl seem to think doctors know way more than they actually know.. Its such a large field its only the specialists who can look into their speciality more deeply. That is something Ive learned when studying... Always do some checking yourself and then get a second opinon when u feel like it. Not saying this to diss docs but to say that its such a difficult profession where u need to know so much..

then there are those docs who get pissed off when u question them and seem to think they are omnipotent... I hate those, they take it as some sort of an offense if u ask questions from them - when u dont just buy it blindly. Especially when they cant explain it to u....

Relax dude...accutane f...s with your head. Well known psychiatric side effects are documented. EIGHT days????? I'd chalk it up to a bit of paranoia and go to a tanning booth to pipe down on those "sises" you think you are feelin in your chest. Many people temporarily discontinue this medication and only eight days off isn't going to negate all of the effects you've seen thus far. Pharm.D.

Yea, thats why I posted this question on ar, for a second opinion. And to be honest with you, i trust the info I get here more then the doc, because as you said, its such a broad subject, and sometimes experience beats the textbook

Oh yea, It must be all in my head, another head case to blame on accutane....
Actually, no, Im not gonna go that route. I not having psychiatric sides, Im just noticeing increased oily skin, like it was before I started accutane, and a "sises" on my chest. And I am just looking for a second opinion from my ar brothers, because I think my dr is just trying to save her ass...
Thankyou for your time and opinion on this
