who draws w 18guage
I am starting a 120 day cycle with 120 shots. Does anyone here draw with an 18 guage to load say up to 3-4 darts at a time?
I ran into a situation in the lab where I was using an 18 guage and it took a flake of the rubber off and I can see it in the bottom...Is this likely to occur with the above?

Just make sure to switch the needle before you inject.

I draw with 22g... not bad at all... doesn't fuk up the stopper and it doesn't take too long to draw with....

I use a 23 guage and it seems like it takes way too long.

if u are shooting everyday from a decent size vial u will not want to use an 18g to draw with... U will fuk up the rubber stopper...

50cc will break down.. the most youll get is 10 good sticks with an 18g before it leaks.

for the first draw I loaded the 18g in the vial and kept it in while loading a few darts...
Then did the same for the remaining two compounds to cut down on the number of times the needle penetrates the rubber...
Maybe i'll mix it up a bit and switch between 23 and 18

I usually don't mind drawing with a 23. I've even drawn with 25's before.
I don't buy 18's because they only serve one purpose. I just stock up on 23's and 25's, since you can shoot and draw with both. You just have to be patient.

Push air into the vial before drawing with the small gauges and it will help

18 gauge should be fine; just like with the injectable needles, keep a sharp one on to prevent your problem of the rubber flaking off. As a nurse, I have never encountered this problem on the job. You could have had a defective rubber stopper to begin with. Be sure to wipe the top with alcohol before withdrawing, to keep your syringe as sterile as possible. Allow 30 sec to dry.

I draw with a 21G and inject with a 23G or 25G.

18 gauge destroys the stoppers half way through a vial.

I use 22's. They don't trash the rubber stopper in my large multi-dose vials. And they draw pretty quickly. I guess I am patient in that regard. And it beats having rubber floating in the vial 35ml into a 50ml vial. Or, god forbid, a bigger vial. Not that I have ever seen one of those.

I used to draw with 18g but the hole it made in the rubber stopper on my vials meant it wud very slowly ooze out if it was on its side!
It is quick though.

Too bad you never get so much info on something that's actually important. 18g 1.5 inch tips I buy for 11 cents a piece. It's retarded to buy a whole outfit to be drawing with. Where ever you get your pins they probably have the 18 g tips, they dont' even make 18 g outfits, you'd have to be retarded or polish to shoot with an 18, I almost did by accident but this is why you shouldnt smoke weed before you inject. I've never heard of a problem occuring with too many 18's drawing. I don't understand why people just don't preload 50 pins, they're the most sterile thing, **** 10ml bottles, just preload 25 then do the other 25 later. Using a 25 to draw is retarded, you'll know why once you use an 18 and it takes a second, rather than 2 minutes to pull up a cc of juice with a 25. considering it costs me 39 cents for an outfit 21-25 gauge and 11 cents for a drawer, I just go with a new 11 cent drawer each time. You have to push air into the vial regardless of what size pin. If you don't believe me suck up some test, then suck up some winny and let to of the plunger for a second and watch all the shit get sucked into your winny bottle.
