    pain in the elbow

    the other day i was doing heavy shoulder presses with dumbbells. Anyways, i felt a weird pain in my elbow so i stopped the pressing exercises, but finished my workout. It been four days now, and my elbow is realy tight. I have all range of motion, but if i dont use my arm for a while it tightens up, like after i wake up. Yesterday i was able to do my back workout with no pain, but today i was gonna train chest, but i had to leave the gym because of the pain in my elbow. I dont have any brusing, and there really isnt any swelling, and im not in severe pain. Does anyone know what it could be and how long it takes to go away. Plus, im really depressed about it because i see guys at the gym with the worst form ever and they never hurt themselves, but i end up getting hurt!

    I am no expert, butit sounds just like you strained a muscle around your elbow. Or slight tendonitis. try some heat/cold thearpy for a few days and take it easy on it . If persist, go have it checked out. Don't worry about the others in the gym with bad form. i know exactly how you feel. I became a personal trainer and after learning about the way the body works and moves, I cringe everytime I go to the gym, but I don't want to sound pushy to anyone so I try to just do my thing unless they ask for advice.

    pain

    I've had the same pain decribed a couple weeks back. Seemed to show up after some tricep excercises. Ive also had it for a few days after working shoulders.

    Try glucosamine its probably your joints that are hurting, i get that to sometimes when I do skull crushers, i usually just work through it though. no pain no gain

    sounds like tendon trouble, rest it and work around it see how you go, if it persists go and get it checked out.

    The pain in my elbow is nearly gone but i havent lift upperbody since three days ago. I went to the physical therapist today. He looked at it and took an xray of my elbow. He said that there is no damage to my elbow joint but there might be a slight tear in my tricep. I dont know if i agree with him, but im still gonna ice and rest for the next couple of days and see how i feel. I just sucks casue im in the fourth week of my prop and tren cycle and i dont want to stop.
