    Roid Gut

What causes some of the older guys, That use to juice to have huge round guts. I have a freind that was a heavy user and competed at a pro level back thru the late 70s and 80s. He is still in great shape and wants to do that strongman compitition, but he has a roid gut, What causes this ?

Yes. HGH and diet will cause distended stomachs. AAS doesn't.

GH will cause this. GH does not specifically influence muscle to grow. Prolonged use will also influence organs to grow. This does not present itself as a "gut" though. The person will still have visible abs, just a rounded, protruding appearance. I do not believe growth was available in the 70's but that does not mean he has not used this since it came out. AAS do not influence organs to grow with the exception of the heart. AAS will cause cardiac hypertrophy like any other muscle. Hope this helps. Guns
