Arimidex .5 or 1?

After reading all the threads on Arimidex and the profile I am still confused on whether I should take .5 or 1mg? I just started yesterday with it at .5mg.

Will 1mg make the colestoral go through the roof compared to .5? I understand all the other properties.

I am carrying tons of water and weigh 235 pounds. And I just started it with one week left of a 12 week cycle.

More stats would help, but i would stick with .5 for now until you see how it is working for you!!

I don't think it will do anything to cholesterol. It will keep the test from aromatazing and therefore reduce your estro about 60% to 80%. You need
some estorgen. With out a blood test I would stay at a .5. I take 1 mg daily
however I get blood tested to determine dosage.

So in other words, .5 is plenty? I want to be sure it works correctly.

Either is fine. I will be using .5 ED during my upcoming cycle. It is always best to start on the low side so you can gage how you body reacts. It is easier to increase the dosage later than it is to reduce it after your body is used to a higher dose.

Dosages of liquidex can vary from .25-1mg/ED. It really depends on how prone you are to gyno, dosages involved, and aromatizing hormones taken. Generally .5mg/ED is the standard.
