hitting nerves

i just did my first tricept injection about 4 minutes ago and when i was pushing the needle in my arm twitched felt wierd and i figured i hit a nerve and i was wondering if there is anything wrong with this. there was no blood when i drew back on the needle or when i pulled out. the whole long head is sore right now and i was wondering if i'm in trouble or anything thanks guys

You just braugyht back some memories for me. The same thing happened to me before, except mine was so bad that i couldin't stick the entire syringe in. The pain should go away soon, and the injection was most likely a success since you still went in to the muscle(assuming you went deep enough)

i pushed it in slowly cause i wanted to do it right and when i felt it, i pushed it in about another 1/2 inch (1 inch needle) so i'm pretty sure it was successful, just fucking hurt........son of a bitch

so whats the deal with these site injections. i'm using whinny and is it really worth my while or would i get the same results just sticking it in my delt or glute. now everytime i go to do a tricept inject this is going to be in the back of my mind and i'd rather not hit another nerver. know what i'm saying....?? have any of you guys actually had results that you can say was from site injecting?

I feel your pain....I just stuck myself in the leg this morning. This was my first time doing it myself. I pushed about a quarter of the way through and it felt like I stuck my toe in a electric socket ! It hurt like a bitch. I stopped cause I was shaking and all freaked out. now I have a syringe full of Gear at home and I've got to get the balls to try it again.
