Finally getting serious with the diet
I know, I know, this should be on another thread. I just wanted more exposure for this one.
I'm getting back after taking quite a few years off while putting quite a few pounds on. I've already lost 35 pounds in five months with lifting and cardio. My diet has been average at best.
But since I' have been on this board, I have read so much on how important a strict diet is. You see, I never thought I could do it the way you guys do. But something strange has happened. The more I read, the more I wanted to read, and the more I finally realized that I need to change my diet. So that I did. I got real strict with mainly low cal and high protien. i have lost 7 pounds in the last 3 days, and I feel great. My workouts are actually getting better also.
Here is an example of today. (ie, i am 6'0 and 267 pounds, was a linebacker in college 15 years ago at 235 and jacked)
meal 1 1 piece of whole wheat toast no butter 80 calories
meal 2 1 large can of chicken breast in water 250 calories
meal 3 1 1mega milk shake mixed with water 350 calories
meal 4 1 small can of white tuna 200 calories
meal 5 chicken breat 200 calories
meal 6 1 mega milk shake 350 calories
total 1430 calories
Add in 50 minutes of cardio and lifting 6 days per week. Oh and some winny and clen also
If I feel great and not hungry, can and should I keep this up?
My short term goal is to get down to 240 in the next 6 weeks.

Yes the diet forum would be more of assistance to you.. your cals seems to low.. your 270 lbs eating 1400 cals.. Im not a diet expert but that doesnt seem like enough.. you can throw in some good healthy food which wouldnt put fat on if thats what your worried about.. maybe some more vegetables as well- i dont see where you even eat any... but like I said diet forum would better assist you..
