Talking to your doctor about your cycle?
I went two weeks after my cycle and was getting a routine physical
My docs office wants me to come in to talk about my very high testosterone levels
He seems like a cool and trustworthy guy but when you have insurance
involved do you have to tell them not to mention you are on a cycle
I do not want insurance companies knowing what I am up to
they might say it is not covered and deny me treatment if I
need in relation to what I am doing.
I would like to tell him even though I know I will get a lecture
but I do not want to deal with having that in my medical record
How have you all dealt with your doc and insurance
Do you just go in and say I got supplements from a GNC that did this
or do you tell him the truth and ask him to not mention it in your records
This is new and uncomforble territory
any experience in this would be appreciated

I would not tell him your on aas if you do and he has ran test that insurance has paid for he will be obligated to put it in your record's which your insurance company will of course have acsess to since they have to aprove treatment's before they pay the doctor
I would tell him that you are on trib or some other test booster
Alot of folk's may say doc paitent confadintality (spelling)
But like I said if you are doing this thru insurance they have to aprove the doc's treatment before they pay him so therfor they have acsess to your record's
If the doc does not put result's of test in your file he is commiting insurance fraud
Anyway this is JMHO Iwould not tell him that your on aasLast edited by HORSE~; 07-11-2006 at 06:53 PM.

I dont think there is a definate answer fo rthis. You just have to check our your doc, get to know him and if you feel comfortable, try to tell him.

in regards to your health -you should be straight with the doc so that he knows you & what you are doing & can monitor blood/ cholesterol...etc...
In terms of getting insurance to cover any expenses AFTER you tell him...HORSE may be right--they could easily deny you I would say..

yeah I think I will just tell him I am taking some health supplement stuff for 10 weeks that puts on muscle and I will come back 6 week after the end of that to get more blood work
He is not stupid he will figure it out without me having to spell everything
plane as day
Also you are right. i would get denyed and you can't deny someone for over the counter muscle building supplements
