The gastrointestinal system is a hollow tube that inverts itself at the mouth and anus to become the skin. The skin then, is a reflection of what's going on inside your GI tract.
Acne drugs tend to drastically and relatively harshly modify the environment of the gut. Long term antibiotics aren't a good idea at all to me, and Accutane just doesn't sound good at all:

Makes enough sense to me, take it as you will.

I took it in 2001/2002 for about 6 months. It will make your acne like 200% worse for about 6-8 months and then all of the sudden (within 1-2 weeks) you will have absolutely no acne, just disappears. Its kinda weird, like it gets it out of your system or something.
To this day all my girl friends and some guys will even tell me that they are jealous of my super clear complection.
I had to take blood tests once a month and they always came out great. I didn't have any harsh sides except for being self concious when I was taking it. If you are a depressed person I would also say dont take it, because when you see your skin looking terrible day after day it can get to you.
If you can handle that, I would say do it. My genetics gave me bad acne, my sister has had terrible acne for 7 years and she is still dealing with it today.

Im 21 and just got on a acne med called solodyn... anyone ever heard of it... im using it to treat mild systic acne that i got on my face.... keep in mind im all natural and have never even touched a prohormone.... so my acne is just from my natural hormones...
Let me tell you this stuff has worked wonders... im clear faced now (knock on wood)... been on it for about 3 weeks...
Now latley ive been getting very fatigued... dont know if its from the med or a mild virus, or whatever.... but let me tell you.... for the guys who have never had to deal with that systic acne.... there is no better feeling than waking up and not having to worry about huge zits... ima completley different person... my confidence has gone up about 120%.... so if there is mild sides ill just have to deal or make the best of it...
so look into solodyn... its pretty new i think
