Skin is red
Hi, my skin (chest shoulders and arms) gets really red when I lift or do cardio. I was wondering if this happens to anyone else. Never had this happen before I cycled. It's been going on for the past 3 weeks. Wondering if its high blood pressure.
This is my first cycle.
Here's my stats:
Age:21
BF%:9.8 (electronic)
Weight: 163 lbs
I've been lifting seriously for 2 years.
Currently on week 6 of a 12 week test E cycle.
I've gained about 13 pounds so far
Have been doing 500mg/wk (1-5) and just upped it to 750mg/wk (6-12). Shots are 2x a week. I upped it because it seemed like I wasnt growing any more.
Also running 10mg ED of noval and .25mg ED letro.
Thanks for you help and any suggestions.

How tall are you?
Upping your dosage wasn't smart.
If you can't grow off 250mgs your first cycle, your obviously doing something wrong.
Check your blood pressure maybe to see if it's high maybe?...

Thats normal, partially due to an increase in RBC and therofore the "discoloration" is quite common.

Well, I'm no doctor, but here's my theory......When you lift or do any strenuous activity for that matter (cardio included) the cappilaries near the surface of the skin fill with blood due to the increase in blood pressure and heart rate.......and with your low body fat that effect would be even more pronounced. My upper body always gets red from lifting, but you should still get your blood pressure checked cause it def may be high.

Height
Im 5'8" tall.
I'm deffinately still getting stronger and in my opinion look a little bigger but the scale says I've been at the same weight for about 6 days.
It might be that I need to eat more.
Im pretty sure my trainings all in line. Every other day. Each muscle group once a week. Heavy weights, low reps.
Currently eating about 4 meals a day plus two 55g protien + milk shakes and various snacks (protien bars, granola bars ect). I'm on the school meal plan so it's a little tricky.
Looks like im gonna try to eat more.
Hellmask do you think I lower the dosage back down to 500mg/wk?
Thanks for the help and suggestions.Last edited by cleared4theoption; 10-25-2006 at 01:58 AM.

Eat! Your body is in a anabolic state so the more food you eat the more nutrients will be absorbed into the muscle thus equalling more growth.
YES, keep your dose at 500mgs. If gains slow down , It's either going to be because,
A. Your overtraining, need more rest> but Honestly I dont think that will be a problem for you.
B. Not Giving your body the right amounts of food! > I think thats what you need to focus on.
Or C. Your training routine could be better adjusted for size...example , Focus on major lifts, Squats, Deadlifts, Cleans, Bench and so on.
I would definitly Eat more If your not gaining anyweight. But be patient, Don't expect to gain a pound a day because that is impossible.

Thank you, everyone
Okay thank you all for your input, I really do value it a lot. Here's a summary of my plan for things now.
My last inj. was 325mg (on course for 750mg/wk overall). I will be lowering it back down to 250mg (for 500mg/wk overall) when my next inj day rolls around. (if anyone thinks lowering the dosage back down is not the productive thing to do, please just say so)
I will be eating a hell-of -a lot more.
Sounds like the redness is due to the RBC count. My skin tone is whiter than 9/10 people. Im gonna go get the BP checked eventually to make sure nothing is gonna explode, I have been feeling some very unusually rapid beats when at high intensity. Not sure if it's just me getting older or anything unusual for other people.
Thanks guys.Last edited by cleared4theoption; 10-25-2006 at 05:16 AM.

i don't know what is causing the red skin but as a side note you should not run nolva and letro together.
