1st timer, mid TestE pissed off. Overtraining? Help
Im right in the middle of week 5 of a Enanthate only (250mg e5d) noob style
6'4 220 10-11%. Ive had minimal gains (size-wise) and Im starting to get frustrated. Any help would be awesome so Ill just dump everything on you.
Diet:
9am - 8egg whites, 1 cup oatmeal with soy milk and cinnamon ... maybe a scoop of whey.
11am - 1 chicken breast or turkey sando on whole wheat (plain), banana
1am - small piece of steak, sweet pot.
2pm - lift
PWO - shake, 2 rice cake w/ natty pnut
30 minutes later - 2 chicken breast, brown rice, brocoli
5pm - small steak or chicken breast, <1 cup pasta, yam
8pm - 2 natty pnut butter on toast, small bowl fat free yogurt w/ little flax cereal
9 or 10 or 11 - shake and a handful whatever raw veges are in the fridge (carrots, asparagus, whatever)
(I'm not sure on the total stats for each of those ... just got a diet analysis program today and I'm gonna run the numbers)

Vitas look like this:
Multi, B-100, C, E, Zinc, Niacin, Cranberry, Green Tea, teaspoon of flax (all with breakfast)
Water has gotta be fine because, almost near clear or crystal.
Lift 4 on 1 off...
1: Chest/ABs
2: Back/Bi
3: Shoulder/Tri
4: Legs/ ABs
5: Off
then repeat
(some variation split by split)
Am I overtraining?
No cardio other than walking the dog or girlfriend.
Sleep 7-8 per night, rock solid lights out.
oh yea, and .25 L-dex ed, 10mg nolva ed.
Results:
no water, no acne, normal agression, normal sexdrive, workout intensity has improved I guess ... but thats probably just motiviation. gained probably 4 to 5lbs, probably some fatloss too..
Squat and deadlift are significantly up-- bench has slightly improved -- arms and shoulders haven't grown a 1/2 inch I dont think. Great pumps while lifting, better than before.
What do you think? Overtraining? Not eating enough? Overthinking? Not patient enough? Help me out... thanks.

well the diet could do with some work but you should still see things like increased sex drive. Test E doesn't kick in for a while but sex drive is normally up by week 3-4. Are you 100% about the gear?

everything seems in order for you right now. the only thing that really stands out is that you are only in middle of week 5. come week 8 I dont think you will be so frustrated & unhappy. also--test E should be shot every 3.5days-noob or not.

What diet changes would you suggest?

seems like you are on a cutting diet almost--eat more food & get more good fats pro/carb & pro fat meals work for me

you are mixing fats with carbs which I find tends to make you fat. Also the carb sources for a couple of the meals are not great (toast,sanwiches) there are better options. I wouldn't eat yoghurt or any shop bought cereal. Basically I would clean it up but increase cals. You should still see some results with the diet you have, Im not saying its awful, just that it could be improved.

Like I said, this was a 1st timer type of deal. I've always heard better to start low and go up then start high and higher... right now 250 e5d is all I can manage if this is gonna go 12 weeks. If I could land more, would it be ok to bump dosage right now? Even so, that might not be possible............ so,
what can I do to the diet to get the most out of what Ive got? Jugo is alot harder to find than the grocery store.

well if you are starting low then you may have to deal with frustration & disappointment compared to what you may have expected. maybe shorten it to 10weeks(or get more) but I would bump it up to 500mg per week shot EV 3.5days to maximize & keep stable levels in your system. like PBEAST said.. eat pro/fat pro/carb dont mix carb/fat together & get rid of the toast/bread--theres better sources. load up on veggies/salad
