    Could I have an Infection/Abcess?

Ok well i'm on my last two weeks of my Test E/Deca cycle, so obviously i'm only injecting test E now. I did most of my injections in my glutes and never had a problem, but for the past 4 or 5 weeks i've been doing quad injections.

My first Test E only shot was 3 days ago into my left quad, and now 3 days later my leg is killing me!! I can hardly walk, it kills to stretch my leg, last night I felt like my whole body hurt (thought it might be the test flu?) and it is extremely sore to the touch. I have only had quad pain on my first quad injections, and none since then.

The girlfriend says it is warm to the touch, and since i'm kind of sunburt it's hard to tell if it's red, but it does look a little darker than most of the places. Could this be an infection or abcess? I worked through the pain on my leg day and actually squatted my best ever today (515 X 5).

Let me know what you guys think, i've already got a doctor's appt set up for tomorrow afternoon once my finals are over (screw college btw)

I had the same issue in week 8 of my Test E/Deca cycle. It went away after about 5 days. Buddy of mine who was on the same cycle had his do exactly what yours is doing his knee was swollen huge, but after about 4-5 days it was fine. If it doesn't start to look better by tomorrow go, but thats your call you know your body. I had the test flu symptoms slightly with mine the day after when it first swelled, same with my friend but his were full on test flu symptoms. If you don't feel well by tomorrow I would give it till the end of the day an keep your appointment. Let us know how it goes man.

take your temperature. If it is above normal, you may have an abcess and I would see a doc.

It's not an abcess, well in the terms your thinking. I recently finished my first cycle I used sustanon which is a test like test e. The first few times i injected it effin killed your body will get use to it, try putting the bottle in warm water for a few minutes then draw the test e it will thin the oil a little bit and wont hurt as bad. Test flu will take ya out of the game, take 4 ib proufin every 6-8 hours u will feel fine

it's in a bottle. Sustanon is nothing like Test E tj979....sust hurts because it contains prop. I am on week 14 of my cycle, so my body is used to the test...i'm just not sure what has happened. I guess it is what Kal-el described with he and his friend's test/deca cycle. It is day 4 of my pain but I woke up this morning and it has subsided a bit. I'm going to keep my appt for this afternoon just to make sure everything is cool.

went to the doc today and two of them ended up consulting on the situation...sent me to get bloodwork done (just a simple cbc and c-reactive protein test) to check for any sign of infection (staph, strep...etc). They put me on 300mg of clindamycin @ 3 times a day and i'm going back tomorrow to get my leg checked again once the clindamycin has had a chance to work.

My left leg is slightly warmer around the injection sight and it is 1.5 inches larger than my right leg @ this moment.

I haven't run a temp at all during this...maybe for a short duration two nights ago because my whole body felt hot before I went to bed, but never took my temp that night.

The clindamycin seems to be working, my leg isn't nearly as painful to the touch this morning and my mobility has increased quite a bit. I have to go back in 2 hours so we'll see what my test results were!

No I did not tell the doctors that looked at my leg that I was using AAS. They searched my quad for possible entrance sites of the infection and pointed out pretty much every little spot except the injection site lol.

I'm happy I went to the doc however because the clindamycin is working wonders and I had also injected my right quad with the test that is in the apparently contaminated vial which I threw away, so the clindamycin took care of that infection right when I could feel it starting to form. I've done 2 injects in my glute and right quad since then with a new vial and everything is great.

Now I just have to deal with a possible stress fracture in my foot that I got from walking around manhattan with my lady all day.
