Did I inject in a vein?

Earlier today I was doing a quad injection. Everything was going fine, but after I withdrew the needle I noticed that a little bit of blood was in the syringe.
Is this something that I need to be concerned with? Did I inject into a vein?

You would have known for sure if you injected directly into a vein.

It sounds like you passed through one on the way in/out.

    You'll be fine, it happens.

Just remember to ALWAYS aspirate before you inject.

I agree with the above, as long as you aspirated and none came in you just passed through a vien on the way in. To add to that dont worry about your gear leaking into the vien, after you puncture it, the vien will close immediately.

make sure when you have the needle injected you draw the syringe back to check if you hit a vein, your in luck if you only draw air bubbles, take out if blood is drawn

if you get a little blood in the vial when pulling back is it ok to inject it again? i have it happen twice when a little blood came in and not bubbles and ofcourse i pulled out quick and just a little was in there. just to be safe i didnt inject it, because i didnt know for sure if i should. i was mad since i wasted some juice.

No problem if there's a little blood in the syringe, just change pins and inject again, aspirating of course.

when im doing glute injections its hard to aspirate because of the way i hold the syringe, ive heard the chances of hitting a vein in your glutes are next to none how important is it to do?

^^ It's important enough that regardless of the muscle hit, ALWAYS aspirate . Period.
