    does injection spot matter?

I understand that the ass is the most common place to inject steroids but I am planning on running Test E 500 for 10 weeks and was planning on injecting in my quads. Will the injection spot effect my gains because I have read conflicting beliefs. Help please?!!!!

The muscle and how much blood flow it gets can effect the half life a little. Such as the releases noted from the glutes can be slightly slower than that of the delts.

But the primary purpose of rotating sites is to avoid an ecessive build up of scar tissue. If you notice the site starts to get a little hard or otherwise uncomfortable - you should find new real estate.

Don't bank on any localized growth from AAS. As seen when you compare a properly virilized man to one with low testosterone levels - androgens tend to effect the upper shoulder girdle anyway. Men with naturally high testosterone levels tend to have broader shoulders, as well as more muscular. Once you administer exogenous hormones... the ester's metabolize and the parent hormones are released into the blood stream - they then affect the body in it's entirity...

quads and glutes should have about equal effectiveness. i have however heard info (i believe from anthony roberts, but i may be wrong) that injecting into smaller muscles reduces the amount absorbed/utilized by the body. had a chart and all from studies done, so it seemed pretty legit. regretfully i have no idea where it is on here, but maybe someone else knows and can find it. regardless, when injecting intramuscularly, i stick with the glutes and thighs now just to be sure i'm getting the most out of my AAS.

A recent question last month with Llewllyn...

    Thanks!

I don't necessarily agree that the site or volume actaully effects total bioavailability, as the authors of one study have concluded. I think that aspect needs further investigation..

In any event, injection in the glutes seems to offer the most sustained-release effect, and is the preferred site for depot steroid injections.

not only that im always hearing about all this "site injection pain" issues with delts and quads( just watch this forum for two days)(some guy even tried his abs WTF!!) ive never had any pain in my glutes. the worst i had was a small bruise when the pin went through a vein, but even that didnt give me any pain. do yourslf a favor and inject them glutes!!

Newbie here as well, doing 2 shots a week (Test-e). Im rotating between quads and glutes.

Aside from virgin muscle soreness for a day or so, those 2 spots are SO easy to inject into. The only problem I have with the quad is *sometimes* I can really feel that needle getting deep in the muscle (I might be going through a vein though). And like hanibal said, you can sit and relax while doing it

PS: You ever thought of running the Test-e more than 10 weeks? Im running mine 14 weeks simply b/c from what I understand, it doesnt even really kick in until week 6 or so.
