    If a package is stopped at customs, what exactly happens?

    Do people show up at your house and you end up in deep shit?

    You usually get a letter telling you a package was stopped. Now if you had something unusual or they felt froggy they could do a controlled delivery and try and get you to sign for it. Then you're in deep.
