REALLY high heart rate.
Hey guys, Question for ya, I did a resting heart rate test today, and its WAY high, kinda scared me, it was at 97BPM!! How can I bring this down? here are some of my stats
6ft1in, 210 lbs, 12-15% fat. ??
age, 23, I am a smoker, I do drink on weekends, I dont run in the gym im focused on gaining mass, and I have a high metabilisom. Im on Deca , and Sust, and Acetate. on my 2nd cycle. Any info on how dangerous it is to have this high of a rate, and how to bring it down would be apreciated. Thanks guys.

cardio, endurance training.. works for me.. the cycle you are on shouldn't do anything... what were you doing just prior to you taking that reading???

My heart rate increases with test the next day after each shot then gradually subsides after a few days until my next shot. 1/2 a dose of Atenolol tabs (Noten) brings it down. My B.P creaps up as well so it helps with that too. As I'v been getting more cycles under my belt, I don't suffer from it as much as I used too. Maybe it's due to tolerance, I'm not sure?

at 100 bpm, at rest you would be considered to have sinus tachycardia. At your age you should be in the 60 or low 70's better get off the cigs and do some cardio. Or your going to have major problems later on. You can do 20 minutes of aerobic training and not have to worry about losing mass. You really should get that down. Not trying to flame you just concerned about your health dude.

hmm, I've been supplementing with 600 mg of RYR and 100 mg of coQ10 for over a year now. And I think it works.. Oh, 1200 mg of RYR now since I'm currently on gear.

too high HR can be detrimental in the long run... a recent estimate i saw was 110 bbm... anyway.. urs is too high IMO, i would keep an eye on it.
As far as gear raising only BP - I disagree.. My RHR is under 60, with gear it jumps up to 80 (no matter what gear I take) and my BP is almost uneffected (or only a slight increase). cardio might help u..
in the long run i would advise u to take care of this. if u are young and in pretty good shape u shouldnt have any problems now, but lets say u would have existing ischemic problems with the heart the high HR adds the oxygen needs of the cardiac muscle.. also quitting smokins is advisable.. but most likely when u quit gear ur HR should normalize.. advisable would be also to see that BP is ok and cholesterols..

Test has raised my HR to around 100...and increased BP too..I don't smoke or drink and I do some cardio (had to slow it down..too much calorie expenditure)
I'm getting the BP looked at today..I'm hoping that whatever the doc gives me for BP will slow the HR down too.

Like others here have experienced, AAS make my heart rate go up too. I dont know for sure why this happens, and dont think ive ever seen any research that answers the question. For me, my HR will gradually get faster and faster during the cycle. It really ony becomes a factor when youre doing long cycles, which for me is 12 weeks or more. I have stopped cycles when it was getting as high as yours, and it returns to normal within 2 or 3 weeks. For me its a sign its time to get off.
The cigs certainly arent helping, but I doubt that they are having that great affect on your HR.

just curious, how is it that someone who's into bodybuilding to the point where they're using AAS would be willing to damage their body with cigarettes in the first place? i don't get it ?
