Bro, you could lose/gain "X" amount of lbs in one meal. Factor in other reasons why you can't workout at the same weight and intensity.

Did you get enough sleep? Did you eat the proper amount of calories?

Your weight fluctuates by as much as 4 lbs everyday. I am about 198 in the mornings, and as much as 204 in the evenings.

For incline bench I usually do 4 sets of 8 reps @ 225. The othe day I couldnt even do 1 full set, my strength was not there. The next week it was back again in full. It was just one of those days, my body was tired. You can't look for an explanation for everything bro. This just happens sometimes.

46 and 49lbs? What kind of backwards ass dumbells are you using?

I think you should be more concerned with your workout routine than how much you are lifting. You should be doing more that 2 sets normally.

Like I said, maybe your body is just tired, that kind of thing happens to me all the time.

    Funny!

Weight and strength are not synonymous. For example, a little guy in the corner is probably stronger with one arm than you are with two, and a big guy with 40% bf on the bench might have a 25lb plate on each side (or a 28lb plate at your gym).

Don't even think of your strength in terms of your weight, just keep lifting. Oh and a find a gym with regulation equipment.

Just be patient and see how your workout goes today, tomorrow, the day after. Your analyzing this way too much bro. Your talking about struggling with just a few pounds difference.

I'm surprised you haven't been flamed too hard yet.

WHOA! I just had a HUGE protein fart. -2 lbs for me!

could be a number of reasons, could have been just a bad day at the office, some days you have better wokouts than others, but the most probable cause is youve weighed yourself seen youve lost weight and convinced yourself that because you have lost weight you must be weaker!!
remember the mind is a powerfull thing!!
stay positive,1 pound wont make no difference to your strengh at all!!

The mind is powerful!!!! I broke up with a chick once and she ruined my life at the time ( I was 18 and stupid) so I couldn't get it up for like 4 months for any other chicks, I could get it up and beat it like crazy, but couldn't get it up for any chicks, even had chick friends try. and I went to the doctor and he said that its all in my mind and had me not talk to her or try not to think about her or do anything around her for a few months good to go again. Trust me if your mind can make a horny 18 year olds pecker not work for hot chicks, then it can make you miss a few reps on your shoulder presses.

P.S. I thought my life was seriously ruined it was a sad 4 months
