    advice for a steriod 'newcomer'

ive been working out steady for about a year now, but i was born a small person (5'9" 148 lbs as of now) and just need an extra boost. im going to take my first cycle, a moderate one.. but naturally my mind is filled with questions that any first timer would have.. i have friends who use them,
but no one seems to know what the hell they are talking about. even the people using them half the time.

anyway, any advice would be greatly appreciated. really.

    thanks!!!!

    ~chris

At 5'9" and 148lbs, you need to get your diet in order before considering AAS. Check out the diet forums and set your mind to eating more. I guarantee you won't be dissapointed.

    Good Luck.

***ends on how old you are.... if you're 30+ and only 148.. im assuming you're done growing..... and you can still put on more weight without steroids at that...... but IF your 30+ and done growing... then i would say start out with the old "test e" cycle.. theres threads on here that have first cycle recomendations.. you just have to search.. read the education threads etc... and steroid profiles so you can get an idea of what you want to take.. or if you think you can put on weight yourself.. diet section... and if your still in you teens.. and weigh that much... just press back x2 and click on diet section and or work out

    hope that helps

thanks scribbs12, i appreciate the advice. you rock.

im definatly done growing, im 22.

ive actually put on about 5 lbs(alot for me)
due to eating right.. the last year ive spent most of my time calculating my diet. it helped me put on some muscle weight, but im sick of being just 'lean'.
at first i was happy with being lean, i jog about 3 miles a day, on top of intense workouts.. ive been researching for a while now too, but i think id find out more talking to people rather than searching the net for info which ends up being misleading and soforth.. but ive made my decision, ive been contimplating it for a while now.. just been holding off for a minute. my mind is pretty set,
just trying to find fact from fiction which is hard to do sometimes.
    thanks for the info/support.
if you have any recommendations that would be great...

    okay, my diet consists of..
when i wake up i eat about 1 or 2 turkey burgers, then 2 servings of lean, low fat beef most days for lunch of dinner,
and every other day i eat a large portion or so of chicken and rice,
large servings of pasta and lowfat cheese every other day, all the veggies i can cram in my face, 3 eggs every other day.. lots of steak..
no sugar at all. on my cheat days i eat about 4 pieces of pizza.
i know it sounds a bit scattered but its pretty calculated..
and i know it will be even moreso when i begin my cycle, which im ready for.

Post up your macros. How many grams of protein, carbs, fats are you taking in daily? Daily Calories?

    okay...
i take in 200+ grams of protien,
    230 grams of carbs,
    3,000 + calorie intake,
    about 45 grams of fat,
and as little saturated fat as possible.
    does that help?

your welcome.... at 22 its still a possiblilty that you will grow more.. unless of corse you look at your immediate family and they are all the same size as you or smaller... but if not then theres a good chance your not done growing.. and look on both sides of your family too...

--and diet and hard work may give you another 10 pounds in a year or so but you seem to be impatient right lol

just watever you do make sure you know
what it is that your taking
    how much to take
    when to take
    how to take
    when to stop
    and PCT

read/ask around ..everyone here is helpful

    good luck

thanks again... yes i can say i am a bit impatient, but only because
i have looked at both sides of my family and have outgrown my father by 2 inches, and my mom weighs about 99 lbs haha.
everyone in my family is lean, but not bulky.
my goal is to reach about 160 lbs, and stay that way.
i dont think im being toooo greedy haha...

like anything, the longer youre into something the more there is to learn,
and the more complex it gets, though the general outlook
    will remain fairly simple.

im really only looking to take one cycle and see where that takes me.
    nothing to extreme...

but yea thats why im here, just trying to learn from people who already know.

also i was prepared for people to discourage me from it to an extent..
but you have to start sometime.
if you have suggestions i could look into with my diet let me know.

    thanks!!!!!!!!!

    im 5'9" and 22.
working out for a year solid.
have gone from about 139(lbs) to 148/7 (lbs) since i began..

    was very skinny.

    200+ grams of protien,
    230 grams of carbs,
    3,000 + calorie intake,
    about 45 grams of fat,
and as little saturated fat as possible.

your post started as an aas thread... but now its turning into a diet thread.. i think you should re-post in the diet section.. you'll get alot more responses there..
and look you put on about 7-8 pounds in a year.. you work out for another year or 2 you should reach 160 (your goal) without aas.. wouldnt that make you feel more proud than to know you took the quicker way .. just a observation. but good luck
