a dry creaking sound frm my chest muscle?

im not losing it im serious on friday while walking i was rubbing my chest muscle because they were sore after my chest routine the day before and i began to notice a creaking sound like that of a loose floor board,i could hear and feel this, was it my muscle tendons healing from my workout the day before? i asked my brother to place his hand on my chest muscle and he thought it was my top making the noise,so i took of my top and we could still both feel and hear the tendons creaking..its gone today so im sure it was my muscle repairing itself is this normal like??

it could be the joints in your sternum making the noise.they move around when flexing the pecs. i have a similar thing as i tore a pec and my sternum is all twisted and tweeked from the missing muscle. ur all good!

ummmmm there are no "joints" in your sternum.

your ribs come together at your sternum, i believe, im no doc but i get inflamed sometimes and a rib will stick way out. and yes thsy will pop and crack so if there are no joints i dont know what youd call them but they can move around i assure u

no joints in the sternum, if anything it may be the clavical joint. I have problems with my clavical after a car accident. chest day takes a real toll on it sometimes. If it doesnt hurt you are probably alright. If it starts to hurt, your body is tryin to tell you something.

ive had somethin along the lines of this but mine went away after a little while, its from straining i think. as soon as i could try and relax it started to go away along with the pain. i know its most likely a complete dif thing but the sound you described was very similar
