    old schools the best

    for the last couple of years i've been using machines at the gym due to my injuries(comes with getting old), but after being on some test for a few weeks and feeling strong decided to do some bench...it was only six plates for about 5 reps as a max (hopefully back to 450 in no time) and some incline dumbell press with 90 pound weights..not bad for a few years off the bench and i was happy.. what was WEIRD...was how i would remember how my joints would feel weak and unsteady..but not today..i wonder if it was from the gear or just adrenaline..either best workout in a longtime...

    you mean 6 plates total 3 on each side aka 315lb right?

    yup and thanx..hope to add a couple of 25 pound by next week..it's nice to workout the way i was meant to be
