Worried - But the urge
Hi All
Well I'm unsure where i start with this topic..
I am overweight and have been since my early teens, it started with a bad time in my life and eating to feel better.. i went into stages of reading about health and fitness and looked into bodybuilding, each year that go's on i think about doing steroids and really don't know where to start or how to get them or go about it (Im in the UK).
I have tried to diet and nothing works, i have tried daily 6 days a week Gym and i just can shift the weight, i was told by a few people that its my natural body weight however i have man boobs that I'm so sick off.
(i currently weight 15 stone and am around 6 foot)
I have always wanted to try steroids but need all the help i can get, i have posted some pictures and wondering if they would make any difference to my body and what to take? i read about steroids that they can make man boobs bigger, is this the case? is there an alt i can take?
Cycles and genuine stores to buy from and good tips would be great?
I will be honest and Im worried about taking them as i've heard all sorts of effects, some that don't bother me, others which make me scared of having a heart attack or something.

Welcome to AR dude, check out the diet forums and search for your questions they have been all asked before....
As for the urge, there have been people on here researching for 2 years for their first cycle....hold off for now, slim down and tone up and you will be much more happy when you finally do decide to use AAS.

Well if dieting won't work for you then neither will steroids . There's dieting to lose weight and to gain weight (muscle) which is needed on steroids.
Forget steroids dude.. honestly..
Sort your diet out and get on the treadmill.

"Will strength" is one of them...
Go to the diet forum man. You don't need to starve to eat well and loose weight.

Hey there bro,
If you are committed as you say, then take the advice of all the good bros on this board and stay off steroids . If dieting and exercising ain't helping, roids will definitely not help you.
I propose you do one experiment (what have you got to lose): For the next 2 days, read the diet and exercise forum stickies, determine your baseline nutrition requirements and construct a diet and exercise plan. All the resources you'd ever want is here on this site. After that, post it (read the posting-a-diet guideline) and we will help you fine tune it. Then, follow it through for 8 weeks. Are you up for that? If you are, we garantee we'll be there with you every step of the way... as long as you follow the proper posting guidelines of course.
We're here to help, and if you let us, then listen and stay off the gear for now and take the above proposition.
Cheers mate

whatsthat,
You got some serious gyno problem you need to watch it out. Steroid may excerbate your sitaution if you don't balance your hormonal level in the coming months.

Welcome to AR
Steroids are NOT your answer yet. Maybe in the future, but please stay away from them for now.
First thing to get straight is your DIET.....you need 6 small meals a day EVERYDAY without missing a single ONE for at least 12 weeks. One every 3 hours !!! period !!!!!
Get your diet in order first
You do have gyno already and steroids WILL make that worse,
You CAN get the body you want by doing the RIGHT things, and eating the RIGHT way.....
good luck

don't even think steroids now. you say diets don't work. you have to be truly committed and have control over what you eat, Let me tell you I KNOW, so its not just some ripped 165 lb guy telling you this. All Diets are not the same just cause you say your on a diet that don't mean squat. cutting to many cals.. will hurt your metabolism my guess why it doesnt work for you your body thinks its starving and converts everything you eat too fat. Eat healty cut out the sodas, fast food, and fried crap and exercise cardio, and lifting build a good base and you will be surprised how it will, work cause if you dont have the will power for a strict diet you wont be able to diet for AAS. looks like your on the right track Brother stay focused and you will be fine.....

See, good results already. Imagine what you will look like in 1yr and then if you keep it up you can add some AAS to top it off.
You still got a long way to go, but Rome wasn't built in a day was it.***No source checks!!!***

my advice: DONT take them
it is never easy to lose weght, dont take the easy way out. It will take you time and hard work of MONTHS ....do not lose patience
2 advice: if you take them, wait until you have got a solid muscular base

I used to be in your situation. You CAN lose the fat. However your attitude is not good. You are suggesting you tried to diet and excercise but it "didn't work". That is BS. What you are suggesting defies science. The bottom line is cals below maintenance + cardio = fatloss. The sooner you except that, the sooner you will lose weight There is no easy option.
Feel free to PM me for any diet critique or cardio help.

I would like to also say that fat burners probably are not the way to go either at this point. Simply continue to work on your diet and your fitness and once you come to a point where you just want to lose that little extra stubborn bit, hop on em but make sure you do your research on those first too. All in all, good luck man can definitely see results dont quit and keep motivated.

1. Serotonergic drugs cause carbohydrate cravings, resulting in indulging in this food group, especially simple carbohydrates. Serotonergic drugs result in reduced metabolism. The increase of simple carbs. combined with reduced metabolism results in fat storage since digestion of simple carbohydrates increases output of insulin hormone, which causes carbohydrates to be stored as fat in the body. But its more complicated than this.
2. Serotonergic drugs cause an increase in cortisol-an increase in corticosteroids alters the amount and distribution of fat resulting in fat stores of the face and torso.
Also FYI, sexual dysfunction is another common side effct of zoloft, not sexual bliss. Before clinical studies proved ineffective zoloft was frequently prescribed for weight loss. Weight gain is well established in clinical trials, and any weight loss usually follows weight gain. Mabe you have depression and that is why you stop eating like a pigglet.
My biggest problem was not weather it works or not, you should not be recommending antidepressants to people that don't need them.Last edited by Kratos; 07-06-2007 at 11:24 AM.

I started working out from a similar place.
My best advice would be to hire a decent personal trainer for a few months if you can afford it. Someone who can teach proper form, nutrition, etc. And keep you motivated. It's a lot to figure out on your own.
steroids won't do anything positive for you until you get the basics down.

All working hunger suppressor will be more dangerous than steroids .
Ephedrine will stop your hunger but will make some bullsh1t to your heart too .( and i don't speak about the minerals disorder ).
Diet work on every organism , i think your diet is wrong for you , also natural diet is long , so be patient .
My advice is to stay naturally if you just want to loose weight , if you want to get muscles that is another story .

Bro, a four week transformation like that is sick. You went from having no muscle at all to having a lot of muscle. Are you sure your not juicing? J/k, keep up the good work. Imagine what you'll look like this time next year.

Well my eating habits are still the same healthy stuff... im finding my weight training at home is going better and more each time doing various things. i just wack my ipod on the most beatfull music and start working out which brings me into a good sweat!
I am doing this every 2nd day and running every other. although im finding my running becoming easier on the legs i dont seem to over come the throat feel like its burning when running. ive tried drinking water while running and while this stops it for a bit the burning feeling comes back.. is this just my lack of water making my throat dehydrated?
Any tips on running and jogging and also whats a good set of chest press with dumb bells? atm im doing around 15 x 2 at 8kg each arm at the same time whilst laying down on the corner of my bed which makes my arms hover over the edge so they have no easy laydown bit.
