losing juice out of injection site?

I always bleed allot when I pull the needle out after an injection. I can tell that some juice is mixed in with it. How can I improve upon this?

    use the z-track method

basically pulling the skin over to one side and then injecting...then letting the skin go back to original position after the needle is removed. Doesn't allow fluid to come back out through the skin

This could potentially cause a small "blood bruise" if you bleed a lot. You may have a small hematocrit count (low RBC's) so there may be a problem with coagulating. Hope this helps.

Steady the pin as much as possible throughout the injection...wait several seconds or so after the injection is complete before you remove the pin...this seems to help.

Also, slow the speed of the injection down some...if you inject too fast, you don't give the oil time to absorb into the surrounding tissue and this can cause some of the gear to be lost from the injection site after the injection is complete.

    Hope this helps some.

    Good luck,

Could be the length of the pin in correlation to the area your juicin as well.

I had my wife do the injection this time and it was great, hardly even a spec of blood. I think the problem is I don't have the range of motion to inject my glutes, so I end up moving the needle all around trying to asperate and inject one handed.
