Well perks, along with other pain meds will hinder protein synthesis...
But You should be fine...Just dont go over board....and mke sure you let your foot heal.....nothing like reinjuring an injury

I would take what the doc gave you. Lots of BB's use pain medicine. Many use it way to much.

the only thing that i would worry about taking those pills is extra stre4ss on the liver take them only when you absolutely need them as they tend to be a little bit adictive too other then that you will be fine
ps;i agree that we are a little bit passive on this board

I haven't seen any medical lit that show that opiates hinder gains! Geez, you know how many Nubain heads there are in the BB world?

As for the liver, I agree and would watch it. Especially since Percoset's contain APAP AKA Acetominophen AKA Tylenol AKA is liver hepotoxic in doses over 4gm's a day.

The one other thing I would suggest is drink a SHITLOAD of water as all opiates cause dehydration...

take the meds the doc gave to you for the prescribed time only, then get off em.
i dont know about all that inhibiting protein synthesis stuff, but its my opinion that the little bit of time your going to be on them wont hurt you. just dont make it a.................habit.
