T4 not shuting down thyroid?
Hi
I have read on this forum in some older posts that using T4 will not shut down the thyroid.I also read somwere that after coming off t4 thyroid hormone levels will remain on higher levels than your normal levels for a period of time.Read about that t4 will not shut u down because the conversion in t3 will happen in the body and will not shut down thyroid like t3 does. This statement ae true?I have a feew more question. If t4 shut down the thyroid after all in how much time thyroid will recover? Its a chance to get fat after 2 month of use? There are peoples that they use almost year round this stuffs without problems?Im asking this questions cause i would like to run t4(i cant put hands on t3).Im now 30 yars old and i remeber i have made some blood test in my early 20s and doc gave me t4(i think just 50mcgs)for a feew month.I have lost a feew kg's in that time and remebering that my metabolism remained increased long time after.
