anavar is safer for women 5-15mg per day. My wife has done a cycle of this and gained about 5 lbs, and her streangth almost doubled. We kept a close eye, and noticed no ill side affects, other than she was less patient than normal, and her menstrual cycle was allot thicker and darker, and also some night sweats.

Essentially, "yes". That's what all steroids do to varying degrees, this one a lot less though.
She won't be competition ready if that's what you mean, nor will she be an armwrestling threat to you.
