liver value's high, what to do ?
hi, I've been on 60mg/day turinabol for 4 weeks now and my doctor says my liver value went from 12 to 107.
I'm also using a low dosage of antidepressents (50mg/day feverin) to stabelize my moods a bit.
Now my doctors says my liver value is to high and I should quit antidepressent or turinabol. What is a normal liver value on orals ?? And what would you do ?
btw, is it still okay to just go into pct and use Nolvadex ? (I heard it was also livertoxic)Last edited by TallMan; 07-11-2007 at 02:06 AM.

Taking liver support like milk thistle or liv52 should have been the 1st thing
to think of before starting a c17.
Normal liver values shouldn't be more than 50, I would listen to the doc and discontinue one of the two before you permenantly damage your liver.

How much water are you drinking a day? You should be drinking over a gallon a day.

damn, I wish I did use the milkthistle from the beginning
Will it do any good if I started using it from now on and started drinking a gallon of water every day ? Or is it stupid to continue ?
how fast could I let my liver value drop to about 50 ?

which liver value(s) are high? AST, ALT, GGT?? From my experiences, Ive concluded that pretty much any oral steroid will elevate liver values and that no amount of "liver protectants" will stop that. Ive had my blood work done everytime Ive used an oral and the values were elevated, even with taking all kinds of supposed liver protectants. My values always returned to normal within a couple of weeks of stopping.
People overexaggeated the hepatoxicity issue of orals IMO. Sure elevated liver values arent great, but your liver is designed to filter out toxins and is very resilent and even has regenerative capabilities. Elevated values for a few weeks isnt gonna put you on the liver transplant list. Personally, you should be more concerned what orals do to your cholesterol profile

I called my doc again and he told me these:
ALAT 107
ASAT 60
HDL 0.5
The rest of the shit checked was allright.
Taking a lot of milkthistle right now and started PCT
gained 13 lbs with these 4 weeks on 60mg/day so I think I should be happy with it.

during any oral cycle , having kind high liver values (alat and asat ) is totally normal. keep liver protections ( i prefer NAC, R ALA and sesamin) and avoid be on orals for more that 6 weeks. and never, never, drink alcohol.
