An Introduction...
Hey fellas, I've been snooping around here for the past few weeks and thought it'd be time to sign up. I'm pretty excited to find all this great info confined on just one forum. I just finished reading Kale's Newbies Starter Pac http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=212234 and I have got an idea on how this site operates.
I've been working out religiously for a few months now, doing a lot of compound exercises, and have been on a strict high protein diet to help me bulk up. Here are my specs to give you an idea of my current body composition:
Age: 19
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 163
Body fat: 10% (est.)
Training Exp: 4-5 months
Cycle Exp: None
As far as some background information, my dad its pretty skinny probably about 150-160 lbs and measure about 5' 7". Younger brother is about same height and and weights about 130 lbs.
I first started out my quest by reading through Anabolics 2006 by William Llewellyn. Some parts were fairly technical but it informed me on the different issues and components of steroid use . I'm currently considering using steroids but I've been having trouble figuring out where to start.
Can you guys recommend how I should go about finding what kind of steroid I should start with or how I should begin as a rookie? There's quite a few out there so it makes it pretty over whelming to choose, especially when you have no experience.
Sorry for the essay. Thanks in advance.

welcome to AR. you'll get good advice here, but it's up to you to follow it. Like Kale said, you're still a bit young for AAS, however, you're not too young to begin studying and researching which will put you in a much better place when you come upon the time to decide whether or not AAS is for you. You're body is still producing high levels of natual testosterone at your age, and you need to maximize your body's own potential by consistency in the gym, and disceplined dieting. Food/caloric intake will be your main contributing factor to growth potential for you. Consume approx. 5,000cals/ed, and you should see significant growth naturally. you should capitalize on your natural test production and growth potential prior to engaging in AAS use. During the interim, hang out, study, research and understand what you're considering putting in your body and how it can affect you if not administered properly. understand pct fully and ask questions when you cannot find the answers through searches. there are alot of good bros here to help - good luck, bro.
peace,
IG

I know its hard when you are keen but you should listen to the advice given to you here about waiting a few more years before you cycle. Build up your knowledge base and keep hitting it hard in the gym. And remember you have to eat to grow. Good luck for the future champ

Thanks fellas, I take advice from experience individuals very seriously, no matter what the issue is. I did read the article regarding the optimum age of takeing steroids , but it seemed like I was getting mixed reviews, so I thought I would bring it up. I appreciate you guys breaking it down for me.
Here's a question though, in order to properly prepare myself within the next few years to use AAS, what kind of goals should I be setting for my body composition? Is it "more effective" to have a bulky stature before using AAS?

Go to the diet forum and figure out your diet. At 5'11" @163lbs. Skinny as a rail, but that where we all started. I started at 6'3"@155lbs. Some twenty years later and 60 pounds heavier its been a long road. It takes time and won't happen over night. You've got to pay your dues too, you don't get to pass go and collect $200 dollars by cheating yourself. I see that you have been only training for 4 to 5 months, there no way you know what works and what doesn't work for your body. You need time to figure those things out.
Starting a steroid cycle at your age and level of experience would be a waste. Educate before you medicate. Be smart and train smart.
Good luck,
CR
