Plenty of garlic will do the trick, as well as some EFA's 3&6, you dont need the 9 sincee your body produces it on its own. I would suggest the liquid form 2 table spoons per day before a meal. After you finish eating tale your Multi vit. Believe me this will do the trick, also clean the diet up.

    ripped_82 has covered good points.
In addition to his comment of cleaning the diet and to get more specific, cut out breads and replace with oats. Start taking a fiber supp. or eat a couple of apples a day.

Change the flax tabs to oil instead. It's far more effective.
Same with garlic. Try and get as much natural garlic as possible

Ripped nailed it with Omega 3 and 6. By using flax alone you are only getting half of the equation. You need the 6 also.

my flax is made by flora (organic flax oil)

    linolenic acid (omega 3)8g

    oleic acid (omega9) 3g

    linolenic acid (omega 6) 2g

im assuming the doseage is under 30g/day

I have heard good things about rice bran oil for lowering cholesterol.
I will see if I can find the information on it for you.

Thats my point. It is fairly widely accepted that you need a 1 to 1 ratio of 3 to 6. Flax is almost all 3's. 4 to 1 ratio of 3 to 6 in the example above. As ripped said, the 9 will take care of itself once you have the "parent" omega's present.

Blend flax with organic sesame or sunflower, or buy a blend. Udo's Choice, Omega Essential Blend, Radiant Health Basic Essence, etc.

Flora probably makes a blend, they manufacture Udo's Choice.

    bro,

All of these recommendations are on the money, i would add Beta Glucan to the mix. Its got the cholesterol lowering stuff that is found in Oatmeal, except they crammed like 4 bowls of it into a tiny pill.

    So effective it's scarey.

It puts all the other methods to shame.

    Sad but true.
