Why Would Test-E Make You Retain More Water Than Sustanon or Other Blended Esthers?
I've made some good gains on sustanon but I've been reading that a single esther may be better since your levels would be more stable (unless you shot sustanon EOD or ED). The popular alternative seems to be test-e but I've read in many cases people complaining of high water retention or moon face.
Why would the test-e have this more than the Sustanon since they're both tests? I understand you'll also retain some water with Sustanon but I've read it to be more prevalent with test-e.
I'm getting ready to order my 3rd cycle and was thinking about switching but then the old saying of "if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it. " came to mind....

Use an aromatase inhibitor like nolvadex /tamoxiplex or the like and you shouldnt hjave much water retention on either, since its the added estrogen from testosterone 's aromatization to estrogens that cause this.
P.S. I am considering sustanon 250 and also sustaplex 325. How do you like the "sauce" and how does it compare to say, deca ?Last edited by TexSavant; 10-23-2007 at 11:40 PM.

The longer esters typically make you retain more water... and Sustanon only has a little bit of Test E (I think 1/2 or 1/4 of it).

From my research so far though, I'm reading that Deca works best when stacked WITH a test such as Test-E. That may be the route I'm taking next time around.
