What do you guys do with your pins?

Just curious as to what everyone does with their pins and syringes?

put them in a sharps container and drop them off at a hospital or any needle exhange center. (thats what everyone should be doing)

recently ive been putin em in a 5lb protein powder container and super glue'n the lid shut and throwing it in my trash. if you do a search youll see that someone asks this question every week and there will be alot of threads and replys that should have the answer your looking for.

i actually burn the syringe, and then keep all my needles in a box, and dispose of them properly when i have quite a few

as part of my job, i go to the dump sometimes to dump trash if we have less trash at the jobsite than would be cost effective to rent dumpster for. This happens like every two weeks. I just mix thaat protein container in with the trash and throw it out at the dump.

Some bro's recomend putting them in empty protein containers but the problem is if a garbage man gets poked in any case then you get in trouble for not following the laws on pins. Chances of it happeneing......very slim. I heard of one bro actually emptying the pins in the protein container and he would fill it up with that foam insulation that you can buy at the hardware store hahaha, i would actually consider this.

I just leave'em layin around or chuck'em out the window of my car.Now its winter they blend right in the snow.So parks and ski hills are fair game

Bleach um before you chuck um. Get rid of the evidence.

put the needles in a glass container with a lid and add some bleach. Any empty glass bottle with a lid will work. I use a wine bottle and cork it up good.

For the syringes, just out them in a plastic container, preferentially colored so you can't see them, and throw them in a dumpster. Put it in a bag without anythign else that can ID you

I unscrew the needle with the cover on it, remove the plunger, put the needle with the cover inside the syringe and either tape it shut or wrap it with a paper towel and chuck it. I guess it would be a good/better/safer idea to get a sharps container. I'll look into it. I think WalMart sells them. lol

i have a manquin from a department store i worked at. so i just stick them in that. kinda of looks like Pinhead from Hellraiser. but pins all over the body instead of just the head.
