The Anabolic Network

Alright…for anyone who doesn’t know, Steroid .com has purchased a full television studio. Yeah, that’s right…not some cameras and a webcam, not a camera and a microphone, but a full television studio, and a professional set up, built by the same set designers who built ESPN’s studio. We’re also in the final stages of hiring all of our crew…videographers, editors, camera people…whatever. So I guess the thing people are probably wondering is why the hell are you doing this, and what the hell is “The Anabolic Network” going to be about.
Well, here’s the deal: Steroid.com is the place many major news organizations come for steroid information. AND often, a 1-2 hour conversation explaining something to those organizations ends up being a line or two in a story, or a sound byte in an interview. But the thing is, we at steroid.com think that there’s more than a line or two of information that people want. Hell…there’s times when major news organizations contact us (n0, I won’t name names), and they don’t know what the **** is going on. Seriously, not a ****ing goddamn clue in the ****ing world. And by the time I’m done talking with them, steroid.com (and/or me) has a brief mention in the piece they’re working on (if we’re lucky)…and we’ve done their entire job for them. This isn’t how it always happens, but it’s often enough to make me say that it’s not uncommon. (*and of course, I’m not talking about the “All the time” STUFF, because there’s MANY people in the media who are really great, and whom I really love to work with…and naturally, steroid.com has extended it’s offer of help to any and every media organization that wants it, and that offer is open and always good) So our show, on the Anabolic Network, is going to be all that “other” information.
The stuff that major news corporations don’t know, or don’t want to talk about…and we think that there’s a market for exactly that kind of info. And we think that we’re the only people who can bring it to you. If the major media had the kind of contacts we have, then I wouldn’t have been 2 months ahead of them on Operation Raw Deal, right? And if other steroid sites (or other sites at all) had the vision to do a show like this - well, let’s face it, they don’t have the personnel to pull it off. This is kind of an odd thing to say, but here it is: If you have a web-based show, and you’re in the steroid/bodybuilding/whatever industry….your show sucks. It’s horrible. I’ve seen them all, because I do my homework, and BB.com, MD, etc…all of their webcasts are embarrassments. I’m actually embarrassed for those people and sites…because the shows they have are like some shit I’ve seen on youtube, put up by kids in high-school (but less clever)….only stupider, and more poorly produced.
And the really horrible thing is that I think the people on those shows already know it.They can see that they don’t have a staff, a studio, etc…and it’s just an embarrassment. And yes, I know that other sites have web based programs, and literally every single one sucks. I’ve seen them. They suck. Well…I shouldn’t be so critical…the people on them (hosts) have no presence, and the topics are boring… and they’re unprofessional as hell, and poorly produced…but other than that, they’re…well, other than that, they’re still terrible. So keep checking back here, because I’ll keep you updated as I know more.

Just looking at the pics of the studio again.. That is badass ... Wow.. I think it is so great that we will have a show that lets people hear our side..
All you hear is the BS lies on the news ... How steroids will kill you, and how they do this and that.. Most stuff that is reported on steroids is done so by people that dont understand a thing about them.. They just read all the negative stuff and report that( which like I said most of the time is just flat out wrong)...
The Anabolic Network will be our voice .. It is our way to get our message out to the public.. ... The truth ... This really is a HUGE thing .. It is something that has to be done.. ( I think anyways)...
It is just so absurd to click on the news and hear all the bullshit they report about steroids.. I mean most of the stuff I hear is just so far fetched that I cant believe that these people are reporting this crap.. They dont have any understanding about steroids and just go on and on with the incorrect info ..
When I tell people about testosterone 's postive effects and that many doctors prescribe testosterone they are usually shocked ... When I show them medical studies and the postive feedback from men that are prescribed testosterone they are even more shocked , and after the are shown bloodwork from people that have been prescribed testosterone for many years their view point on test usually changes..
Its basically the same exact response every time.. WELL I HAVE NEVER HEARD THAT BEFORE..... Well thats the problem.. News mostly reports steroids as these awful drugs that kill you ( which by the way if you didnt already know there has never been a death that was caused by steroids anywhere in the world)...
So I think the Anabolic Network is the best thing that can happen for our little community ... Cant wait for the first show...

Its not a dumb question. I was wondering the same thing. America, despite all the voices stating otherwise, is one of the developed countries where freedom is being taken from people at the fastest rate. I was surprised that Steroid .com was even allowed to buy a studio and broadcast.
Besides that, just do your magic and tell the truth to that steroid ignorant world out there.

If anything.. It can be the START of something bigger in the future. Right now, there is not much out there to tell the unspun truth about steroid use ...(not abuse). If we do this right (im sure we will fu#k up a bit at the start, as with most first time ventures) we can at least get people who are not educated on either side to make a much more balanced opinion. As of now.. its just a bunch of bullshit talked about with no facts to back them up. Im excited to at least start this journey knowing damn well it will be a long one.

can i TIVO it!!?? lol i cant wait. bout time we have something helpful and informative that we can get out there in a form that more ppl will easily look to. alot of ppl dont like having to read pages and pages of internet info or use the search button with a thousand different combinations of the same phrase just to find what they looking for. now they can just tune in and learn. this is long past due in my opinion. but im grateful that its on its way.

I disagree, I think many others will tune in. I think when gear gets in the news like it does so very often that people will tune in to hear "the other side" and it will likely be quoted in the press. I also know from experience lots of people other then the typical gearhead use gear. AIDs patience, anti-aging crowd, even Hollywood is using gear not to mention law enforcement and the military as well. The market is growing by leaps and bounds.

This is great for informational purposes. The one thing that I fear is that it will end up having youngster thinking that they are ready to use aas. It may also make people that are not ready think this way. I do believe that the producers will make this a point to get across but if someone just catches a small part of a big guy talking about steroids he may think it is a wonder drug. Just my opinion. I look forward to the show.
